From the Principal
Thank you for visiting the W.A. Perry Middle School webpage. We are very proud and excited this school term 2007-08, as we continue with our support and service to the families of Richland County School District One.
The mission of W.A. Perry Middle School is to educate and prepare each student for a successful high school experience, life-long academic achievement, with vocational and personal growth in collaboration with our parents and the community. Our philosophy is based upon the foundation that the school must provide a setting for students to excel to their highest level in all endeavors thus contributing to their intellectual, social and physical development.
Collaboration with health and human service agencies, our faith-based partner, and our community task force has enhanced our instructional program. Our partnerships include USC Trio Program. USC Engineering Program, Columbia Urban League, Trinity Episcopal Cathedral and W.A. Perry Community Taskforce.
The mission of Richland County School District One, a richly diverse community of learners united by a shared commitment, is to prepare all students to excel to the highest level and equip them to be responsible and contributing citizens.
